HA Finance and Treasury for
Board Members and Executives |
Programme Objectives
To help board members and finance
executives of HAs deepen their understanding of finance and
treasury issues;
• to de-mystify finance for non-finance members
• to provide new insights for finance executives
Design & Content
Design: The programme
comprises five seminars with participants able to choose
how many to attend. It is designed to provide board members
and executives with a greater level of financial knowledge
and skills.
Given the ever-changing social
housing environment, the greater range of HAs' business activities
and the demanding governance responsibilities of members,
confidence in financial matters is increasingly important.
The teaching will be based on real-life
decisions, situations and problems from the social housing
sector and very practically oriented. Numbers will be limited
to a maximum of 16 to allow full discussion of participants’
questions.
