Overview
Our financial modelling workshops
will enhance the use of spreadsheet modelling tools and help
develop advanced spreadsheet skills.
They instill a set of modelling
techniques and skills which are easily transferable across
a range of models, and improve accuracy, auditability, transferability
and reduce construction time.
The course will also provide a
comprehensive review of the logic of financial modelling and
cashflow forecasting within a robust finance and accounting
framework.

- Principles of spreadsheet modelling
- Model planning and design “good-practice”
guidelines
- Advanced formulae and Excel functions
- Dealing correctly with circularity
issues
- Accounting reconciliations (B/S, P&L,
C/F)
- Sensitivity analysis and scenario testing
- Use of charts, macros, model auditing
- Building an integrated model eg. M&A,
project finance, LBO
Educational Note
Most spreadsheet modellers think
they have advanced knowledge and skills - until they come
on one of our courses! There is a lot more for them to learn
and we can teach them.
