Who Are We?


Background

FSMD was formed as an independent training consultancy in 1986 by training professionals with an established track record in providing tailored financial training.

Dr Jim Byrne and Dr Gordon Ibbotson, both founder directors, developed their expertise in finance and banking at Manchester Business School prior to 1986.

Senior consultant Richard Peck is ex Cranfield Business School and junior consultants tend to have a business school background.

All consultants, in addition, have considerable and varied practical experience not necessarily confined to the world of banking.

Collectively, our training consultants have experience of working for the full spectrum of banks and corporates at all levels in most major countries in the world.

Model Answers was formed in 2003 as a subsidiary dedicated to our consultancy / model building activities in the social housing sector.
