Aggregating and analysing data

This data aggregate and analysis function of CAPACITY will not be completed until Housing Corporation has sufficient data on a good number of associations. However, the agreed framework is as follows:

In outline it will enable the user to select up to 100 associations and perform a number of types of analysis as follows:

  1. Tabular comparison of key input assumptions and/or output variables for the various associations to facilitate peer group analysis.
  2. Simple aggregation (à la Global Accounts) of financial statement items such as total rents, total development expenditure, or housing unit data, to provide summary data on the chosen sample of associations.
  3. Summarise the flexed scenarios of the various associations in terms of key sensitivities to macro-economic variables such as standardised levels of inflation, interest rates etc.
